About Dr. Wolf
Dr. David L. Wolf, has long been recognized as one of the premier aesthetic surgeons in La Jolla. Although very well trained in reconstructive surgery, his practice is now limited to cosmetic surgery. His superb results are both dramatic and natural in appearance.
Dr. Wolf has long championed the goal of surgery that is extremely natural in appearance. Plastic surgery that looks “done”, “out of proportion”, “tight or pulled”, or unattractive, does not represent good plastic surgery. Excellent plastic surgery should have a dramatic, yet soft appearance so that the patient never has to acknowledge that they have had surgery, unless they choose to do so. This should be true on any type of plastic surgery that the surgeon performs.
Dr. Wolf received his board certification in plastic surgery in 1983. He is a Diplomat of the American Board of Plastic Surgery, a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a Member of the California Society of Plastic Surgeons. He has been a Senior Staff Surgeon at Scripps Memorial Hospital in La Jolla. Dr. Wolf operates out of his fully accredited and certified facility, located in the Ximed Building, on the campus of Scripps Memorial Hospital in La Jolla.
